I love fall. It is the time of change in the most visual sense of the word. It's my favourite season; going to the bush to gather blue spruce, pine, cedar clippings and red berries. Making swags is a lot of work but the end results are gorgeous! I love decorating my home and store. For many Christmas seasons I was commissioned to decorate homes and store fronts, completely in my element. If I was was not in the antique business I would own a greenhouse and florist boutique.
My passion is primitive elegance. Every November I prepare for my Primitive Christmas Open House. I gather my clippings and cuttings and create swags to sell. There are 40 choices to choose from.
My garden is very important to my creative pallet. The fire bush is beautiful in all seasons. But most succulent in the late fall.
Great old buckets and pails are always available for sale. They range is colours and sizes. There are some best for outdoor decoration and some that do wonders indoors.
I love to fill them with trinkets and fresh cuttings of all seasons.
This grand Waterloo County corner cupboard arrived at my store recently. It is GRAND in size and is a primitive beauty. $5500.00 tax included.
Pine blanket boxes and baskets of all shapes and sizes are always here. I adore them. They are great in any room of the house.
Wow... Stained glass. All coloured glass is a thing of beauty. Old windows in great shape are very hard to find. I have a nice selection to choose from. Church, general store and door transom stained glass are here to enjoy.
I look forward to seeing you all at my open house.
